Genetic Testing For Breast Cancer

BRCA 1 & 2 is a gene test that is conducted for genetic testing in breast cancer.  Keep in mind that genetic tests are not very clear, but they can help identify if an individual is at risk of developing a specific type of disease, including cancer. Remember, if this test is positive, it means you carry a gene that has been mutated or is expected to mutate.

Nonetheless, this mutated gene may cause breast cancer, but early detection may help doctors start the right treatment to prevent the disease from happening.
